Harry Potter House Unity Scarf

Here's one I've never seen! I originally made this for a baby, but it would totally work for a doll. Originally based on this pattern -- except this is much smaller, and also crochet.

You need:

Sport Weight Yarn -- in red, yellow, green, blue and black. You're only using an itty bit, so if you've got some scrap, go for it.
F hook

Start with black. Ch 6. Work 1 row in sc from 2nd ch in hook, and in each ch accross.

From here on out, 1 row is defined as 5 sc across, ch 1, turn.

Work 3 more rows in black.

Work 3 rows in red.

Work 1 row in black.

Work 3 rows in yellow.

Work 1 row in black.

Work 3 rows in green.

Work 1 row in black.

Work 3 rows in blue.

Work 7 rows in black.

Work 1 row in red.

Work 7 rows in black.

Work 1 row in yellow.

Work 7 rows in black.

Work 1 row in green.

Work 7 rows in black.

Work 1 row in blue.

Work 7 rows in black.

(Notice, at this point, it starts to reverse.)

Work 1 row in blue.

Work 7 rows in black.

Work 1 row in green.

Work 7 rows in black.

Work 1 row in yellow.

Work 7 rows in black.

Work 1 row in red.

Work 7 rows in black.

Work 3 rows in blue.

Work 1 row in black.

Work 3 rows in green.

Work 1 row in black.

Work 1 row in black.

Work 4 rows in black.

Add fringe, weave in ends, and try to keep your eyes from crossing after you've finished all that.

Back
